Today was our annual Media Day at PNC Park and it’s an event we look forward to every year. We get to walk the ballpark, hear about the updates for the new season, check out some new gear and eat some great food.

This year there are many health and safety protocols to go over, so we cannot stress enough how important it is to check out pirates.com/safe before coming to PNC Park.

Also keep in mind we are now a completely digital ticketing facility, so be sure to download the Ballpark app now to buy and manage your tickets. It’s quick and easy and will allow for a seamless entry experience.

In addition to being digital, PNC Park is a cashless ballpark throughout. There are reverse ATMs, to change your cash to a MasterCard, behind sections 119 and 319 (they’re free and very easy to use).

Finally, when entering the ballpark, keep a few things in mind: Bags bigger than 8" x 5" x 1" will not be permitted unless it is a medical or diaper bag; Fans are welcome to carry in sealed water bottles, 24 oz. or less; and several PNC Park gates are closed around the ballpark until further notice including Legacy Square Gate and Right Field Gate. Be sure to check out the recommended gate entry on your ticket.

Now, check out some pics from our tour today:

Pirates President Travis Williams led the Tour of PNC Park

Fanatics has a ton of new merchandise in the Pirates Clubhouse Store, when you get here be sure to check it out. (Man, we love the Pittsburgh script jerseys)

It’s no secret that the food is our favorite stop and as usual, Aramark did not disappoint. The presentation included the premium area items as well as the great things they are doing behind the scenes to keep us safe.

Every thing was delicious, btw.
